We are pleased to announce that Aptiv Services US, LLC is the latest company to locate at the Connexial Center Industrial Park. Aptiv, a tier one automotive industry supplier, is investing $120.8 million and creating 277 jobs.

“This is a significant win for Laurens County. The Connexial Center was specifically developed as a “’mega-site’ to attract high-tech manufacturing, and landing a global leader like Aptiv—which focuses on vehicle architecture and electrification—validates that long-term investment,” shared Matt Stanley, Laurens Electric Cooperative CEO.

This news follows a recent announcement from another Connexial Center company. Shamrock Technologies, a global leader in specialty additives, originally announced its Laurens County expansion in 2022 and has since strengthened that commitment with the decision to relocate its headquarters from New Jersey to its new Connexial Center facility.

We love to see the continued activity and growth at the Connexial Center, a 600+-acre, Class A industrial park just off I-385 in Gray Court. Developed through a partnership between Laurens County Development Corporation (LCDC), Laurens Electric Cooperative, Inc. (LEC), and the South Carolina Power Team, the park offers flexible acreage and immediate development potential. “The Connexial Center has become one of the prime locations for jobs and investment in Upstate South Carolina,” says Jonathan Coleman, President & CEO of LCDC.  “The partnership between LEC, the South Carolina Power Team, and the LCDC is a prime example of the exciting things that can be accomplished when organizations collaborate to make a community a great place to live, work and play.”
